The legal descriptions for the two Grant Deeds which were recorded were incorrect and as a result, rather than creating two parcels from three parcels, the three parcels were divided in to four parcels. What happened was that, the middle 50 foot wide parcel was divided into two separate parcels of 25-foot width each. In order to correct this, it will be necessary to record new Grant Deeds with the correct legal descriptions. Enclosed are copies of your original Grant Deed with the corrections made necessary to create two parcels. Also enclosed are two blank Grant Deeds which may be used for the new description. Please fill out these corrected Grant Deeds and have them notarized. Once that is done, please submit them to this Department and we will send them to the Recorder for recordation.
