We appreciate the opportunity to work with you and your team in developing an exciting concept that captures the vision and successfully represents both the City and the auto dealerships it serves. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Project is to develop a Conceptual Design for the proposed streetscape for the La Quinta Autopark Parkway. The Project solution is to be developed in close concert with RGA Landscape Architects, Inc. (landscape architect). The Project is to develop an enhanced and unified streetscape theme that mutually promotes the auto dealerships located in the Autopark and that represents the values and image of the community of La Quinta. The project is located along the south side of Highway 111 between Adams St. and La Quinta Center Dr. The Project includes median improvements, landscape and public sidewalk enhancements, feature vehicle displays, signage and monumentation. The Project includes preparation of graphic exhibits of the approved Conceptual Design for Client promotional and presentation purposes. SCOPE OF SERVICES The Architect shall provide the following professional services: BASIC SERVICES: CONCEPTUAL DESIGN CONSULTING ■ Conduct a detailed meeting with Client to establish project program requirements; ■ Perform preliminary code research to determine Project relevant development standards; ■ Develop a Conceptual Design in conjunction with RGA Landscape Architects, Inc. and prepare sufficient exhibits to convey design intent; ■ Meet with Client to review Conceptual Design; ■ Incorporate Client revisions (as needed); • Develop and produce color exhibits including conceptual site plan, detail plans, and (3) perspective renderings for use by Client; Deliverable: (1) set of elec1mwcExhi1Vts, (3) sets of harry coy exhibits CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES The Client shall be responsible for the following items: ■ Participate in the programming session with the Architect to establish project objectives; • Review and approve Conceptual Design package prior to production of color exhibits. EXCLUSIONS The Architect shall not provide any services other than those expressly stated in "Scope of Services" above. Additional Services requested by the Client shall be agreed upon between the Client and the Architect in writing and for additional compensation. COMPENSATION Compensation shall be as follows: Basic Services: CONCEPTUAL DESIGN CONSULTING FIXED FEE of $4,800.00 McAuliffe & Company, Inc standard rate schedule for ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Principal/Design Architect $150.00/Hr. CAD $90.00/Hr. Administrative $50.00/Hr. 2 Reimbursable Expenses• The Client shall reimburse the Architect for expenses incurred in interest of the Project, plus fifteen percent (15%). Reimbursable expenses include reprographics, presentation materials, and shipping. Reimbursable expenses are in addition to fixed fees. A retainer of $1,200 (25%) shall be required and is due upon execution of this Letter of Agreement. Final payment of $3,600 (75%) plus any reimbursable expenses shall be due upon delivery of presentation exhibits. If this Agreement meets with your approval, please sign and return a copy to me. Upon receipt of the executed Agreement and retainer, we will commence work on your project within 5 business days. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Project is to develop a digital representation of the conceptual design for the La Quinta Autopark Parkway project as designed by McAuliffe & Company, Inc. in collaboration with RGA Landscape Architects, Inc. The goal of the project is to develop an animated computer visualization to best represent and portray the design concept. The animation will portray the proposed architectural design from the perspective of a car driving on Highway 111 both eastbound and westbound. SCOPE OF SERVICES The Architect shall provide the following professional services: DIGITAL ANIMATION ■ Develop 3D model of existing site, neighboring buildings, topography and detailed models of existing dealership structures; ■ Digitally represent proposed architectural and landscape design for Auto Center ■ Display appropriate can in proposed display areas ■ Develop conceptual story -board of animation sequences, to be approved prior to final rendering of animations ■ Simulate view from vehicle driving along Highway 111 adjacent to dealership Deliverable: (1) Video animation file inQuickkme.movformat at 1920x1080 HD Video Rerolution— featuring East and West bound drive by viewing angles Animated sequence not to exceed 70 seconds: (5) still images at print resolution—4000x2500px o Duplaypad detail o Colkcam signage detail o Individual dealer signage detail o Twikgbt rendenng distant view o Twikght rendering near view CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES The Client shall be responsible for the following items: ■ Participate in storyboard session and approval; ■ Provide access to necessary topographic and as -built information for appropriate areas (site of auto dealers and adjacent lots) • Provide access to necessary locations on site for documentation purposes EXCLUSIONS The Architect shall not provide any services other than those expressly stated in "Scope of Services" above.
