SUBJECT: PLOT PLAN NO. 85 -235, A Request to Install Seven Temporary Project
Identification Signs for "The Grove"
Dear Mr. Howerton:
This letter is to report approval of seven (7) free - standing project
identification signs for "The Grove of La Quinta" project on Washington
Street, Jefferson Street and Avenue 50. This approval is subject to the
following conditions:
Conditions of Approval
1. Construction and installation of the signs shall conform with Exhibit
"A ", "B" and "C" contained in the Conn city Development Departrient's
file for Plot Plan No. 85 -235 and the following conditions, which
conditions shall take precedence in the event of any conflict with the
provisions of the plot plan.
2. This approval is for the installation of the following seven (7)
temporary free - standing signs or boundary markers:
a. One "L "- shaped, free- standing sign with two sign faces to be
located on the east side of Washington Street at Eisenhower
Drive.
b. Six tube -type, boundary signs/markers to be located on
Washington Street and Jefferson Street at the project's
north and south boundaries and on Avenue 50 at the project's
east and west boundaries.
3. The location of all signs shall be in accordance with Exhibit "A" of
Plot Plan No. 85 -235. No signs or markers shall be located within or
extend into the public street rights -of -ways.
4. The design of the signs and boundary marker shall conform substantially
with the approved Exhibit "C ". Colors shall be submitted to the CaRrnmity
Develofn ent Director for review and approval.
5. The "L "- shaped, two -faced sign shall not exceed 12' x 8' in size with a
maximum overall height from the top of the existing grade on which the
sign will be located of thirteen (13) feet.
