MINUTES
MARCH 6, 2012
A meeting of the La Quinta City Council in their capacity as Successor Agency to
the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency ( "SA ") was called to order at the hour of
6:17 p.m. by Chairperson Adolph.
PRESENT: Agency Members Evans, Franklin, Henderson, Osborne, Chairperson

ABSENT: None

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 21, 2012
MOTION - A motion was made by Agency Members Evans /Franklin to approve the
Successor Agency minutes of February 21, 2012 as submitted. Motion carried
unanimously.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. APPROVAL OF DEMAND REGISTER DATED MARCH 6, 2012
MOTION - A motion was made by Agency Members Franklin /Evans to approve the
Consent Calendar as recommended. Motion passed unanimously.
BUSINESS SESSION
1. CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
RECOGNIZED OBLIGATION PAYMENT SCHEDULE OF THE FORMER LA
QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY 2012
THROUGH DECEMBER 2012
Economic Development / Housing Manager Powell presented the report.
CITY AS SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO RDA 1 MINUTES OF MARCH 6, 2012
City Attorney Jenson explained the issues that the State Department of Finance
(DOF) has raised regarding the'Enforceable Obligation Schedule (EOPS) submitted
by La Quinta. The DOF is questioning the La Quinta Palms Realty contract and the
Washington Street Apartment project.
MOTION — A motion was made by Agency Members Henderson /Franklin to adopt
resolution SA 2012 -002 entitled: A Resolution of the City of La Quinta Acting as
the Successor Agency to La Quinta Redevelopment Agency Adopting the
Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule for the period of July 2012 through
December 2012. Motion passed unanimously.
STUDY SESSION — NONE
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, it was moved by Agency Members
Osborne /Henderson to adjourn at 6:08 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
