A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION
TO APPROVE A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH
RIVERSIDE COUNTY FOR THE USE OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS FOR
PUBLIC FACILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS ALONG
CALLE SINALOA, AND PUBLIC SERVICE FUNDS FOR THE
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB - LA QUINTA UNIT
WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant Funds for FY 2012 -2013
will be approximately $151,572 to begin July 1, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, the City of La Quinta must submit to the Riverside County Economic
Development Agency a signed Supplemental Agreement to utilize the Community
Development Block Grant Funds; and,
WHEREAS, the use of the Community Development Block Grant Fund was
openly discussed and considered by the City Council at their regular meeting on
December 6, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, on December 6, 2011, by a majority vote of the City Council of the
City of La Quinta, California, the following proposal(s), were selected:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La
Quinta as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City of La Quinta does hereby approve the Supplemental
Agreement for the use of Community Development Block Grant Funds for Fiscal Year
2012 -2013 for the above -named project(s).
SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby directs the City Manager to disperse the
funding amounts in accordance with the programming procedures of the Community
Development Block Grant program.
