The backfill material should be densified by thorough flooding or jetting or through the use vF vibratory compaction 'equipment. The seepage should be demolished to'a depth o- at least 5 feet below;ythe proposed final subgrade elevations, infilled with select granular material, the backfill densified, and the pit capped with concrete. A zone of properly compacted uniform soil at least 5 feet thick, should then be placed and compacted in thin horizontal lifts over the infilled capped pit. Septic tanks in the structure areas should belInfilled completely with lean concrete (3 -sack mix), vibrated or rodded as rldcessary to fill all voids or gaps around the baffles, etc., then capped wit and a minimum of '5 feet of compacted fill soil placed over the f tank.
