A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
A DONATION FROM THE LA QUINTA
HISTORICAL SOCIETY
WHEREAS, on May 7, 2013, La Quinta Historical Society offered a donation
to pay electrical improvements at the Civic Center Campus;
WHEREAS, the donation was offered to the City of La'Quinta and was not
given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and -
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of $2,500 for
electrical improvements and maintenance of the 9/11 Memorial at the Civic Center
Campus.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this 7` day of May, 2013, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Evans, Franklin, Henderson and Osborne
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Adolph
ABSTAIN: None
