CC Resolution 2018-012 Position ReclassificationRESOLUTION NO. 2018 - 012 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE PAY GRADE OF ACCOUNTANT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST AND DEPUTY CITY CLERK, AND WORKING TITLES AND CLASSIFICATIONS OF MARKETING & EVENTS SUPERVISOR TO MARKETING MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR; ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN TO MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT; PERMIT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR TO MANAGEMENT ANALYST; HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST TO HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER; AND CUSTOMER SERVICES MANAGER TO MANAGEMENT ANALYST WHEREAS, the City Council previously approved and adopted the 2017/18 Classification Plan; and WHEREAS, the City's Personnel Policy Section 2.05, Preparation and Amendment of Classification Plan, requires amendments to the Classification Plan be adopted by a Resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, amendment of the Accountant, Deputy City Clerk, Management Specialist, Marketing & Events Supervisor, Administrative Technician, Permit Operations Supervisor, Human Resources Analyst, and Customer Services Manager will allow the City to continue to achieve benefits, efficiencies and expanded duties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La Quinta, California, as follows: SECTION 1. The City does hereby approve and adopt the revisions to the Classification Plan for Fiscal Year 2017/18, attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and incorporated herein by reference.
