A regular meeting of the La Quinta Financing Authority was called to order at
8:15 p.m. by Chairperson Adolph.
PRESENT: Authority Members Evans, Franklin, Henderson, Osborne, Chair Adolph

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION — A motion was made and seconded by Authority Members Henderson/
Franklin to approve the minutes of March 19, 2013 as submitted. Motion passed
unanimously.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1 . TREASURER'S REPORT DATED FEBRUARY 28, 2013
2. REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE REPORT DATED FEBRUARY 28, 2013 AND
INVESTMENT SUMMARY REPORT FOR QUARTER ENDING MARCH 31,

Franklin to approve the Consent Calendar as recommended. Motion passed

Receive the Fiscal Year Preliminary 2013/2014 Budget for the La Quinta Financing
Authority and direct staff to prepare a Fiscal Year 2013/2014 Final Budget forthe June 18,
2013 La Quinta Financing Authority Meeting.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The 2013/2014 proposed budget consists of the La Quinta Financing Authority operational
revenues and expenditures are included for review.
FISCAL IMPACT:
All Fiscal Year 2013/2014 revenues, operational appropriations and debt service funding
are included in this Budget.
BACKGROUND/ANAYLSIS:
The La Quinta Financing Authority Fiscal Year 2013/2014 proposed budget is incorporated
in the budget document discussed in agenda item S1.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff is requesting:
1. Review and comment on the Fiscal Year Preliminary 2013/2014 Budget for the La
Quinta Financing Authority and provide direction regarding any proposed changes
to the document; or
2. Provide staff with alternative direction.
