Program with CVAG.

SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION LETTER FOR USED OIL PAYMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR
2017-2018 (8" CYCLE)
As the City Manager for the City of La Quinta, I am authorized to enter into contractual
agreements for the City of La Quinta. Pursuant to this authority, I hereby authorize the Coachella
Valley Association of Governments to submit a Used Oil Payment Program (OPP) Application to
CalRecycle, and act as the lead agency on behalf of the City of La Quinta. The Coachella Valley
Association of Governments is hereby authorized and empowered to execute all OPP related
documents necessary to secure funds and implement approved projects.
This authorization is effective until rescinded by me or my successor.
