Subject: Countywide Oversight Board for the County of Riverside -Information on First
Meeting
Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34179 (j), effective July 1, 2018, the Countywide
Oversight Board for the County of Riverside (Countywide Oversight Board) shall be in operation
and the current Oversight Boards of all Successor Agencies within the County of Riverside shall
dissolve.
The Countywide Oversight Board will be governed by a seven (7) member board, appointed in
accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 34179 (j), and will have jurisdiction over twenty-
five (25) Successor Agencies associated with the following cities and joint power authority:
1. City of Banning
2. City of Beaumont
3. City of Blythe
4. City of Calimesa
5. City of Cathedral
6. City of Coachella Valley
7. City of Corona
8. City of Desert Hot Springs
9. City of Hemet
10. City of Indian Wells
11. City of Indio
12. City of La Quinta
13. City of Lake Elsinore

15. City of Moreno Valley

18. City of Palm Desert

The first meeting of the Countywide Oversight Board has been set for July 19, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
The meeting shall occur in the meeting room of the Board of Supervisors located on the 1st floor
of the County Administrative Center, 4080 Lemon Street, Riverside, California 92501. The agenda
for the July 19, 2018 meeting shall include a proposed annual schedule of meetings, submittal
policies and procedures, uniform templates and other policy and procedure related matters
affecting Countywide Oversight Board members and successor agencies. To ensure all
stakeholders are adequately informed of the policy and procedural issues related to the
Countywide Oversight Board, the agenda for the July 19, 2018 meeting will be limited to
administrative matters. Please contact Imelda Delos Santos at (951) 9554110 or
idelossantos@rivco.org, in the event your Successor Agency has a time sensitive matter you'd
like our office to consider adding to the July 19, 2018 agenda. The July 19, 2018 agenda and
related materials will be made available prior to the meeting date.
The Riverside County Executive Office is in the process of finalizing a website dedicated to the
Countywide Oversight Board. Among other things, the website will contain links to the various
successor agencies within the jurisdiction of the Countywide Oversight Board.
