AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AGREEMENT
WITH AMS SECURITY SERVICES
This Amendment No. 2 to Agreement with AMS Security Services ("Amendment
No. 2") is made and entered into as of the 15t day of July, 2018, ("Effective Date") by
and between the CITY OF LA QUINTA ("City"), a California municipal corporation and
AMS Security Services a Security Monitoring Service ("Consultant").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on or about July 1, 2017, the City and Consultant entered into an
Agreement to provide citywide Fire and Alarm Monitoring services for the City. The
term of the Agreement expires on June 30, 2018; and
WHEREAS, changes are indicated to the Contract Sum in the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City is utilizing Consultant for Citywide Fire and Security
Monitoring service; and
WHEREAS, the City and Consultant mutually agree to extend the term of the
agreement; and
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenant herein contained,
the parties agree as follows:
AMENDMENT
In consideration of the foregoing Recitals and the covenants and promises
hereinafter contained, and for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and
receipt of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows:
Section 3.4; Term, The City and Consultant wish to amend the original Agreement for
the second one-year term from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019:
1. Exhibit A - Scope of Services is amended as attached in'Exhibit A.
2. Exhibit B - Deliverables and Budget is amended as attached in Exhibit B.
3. Exhibit C - Schedule of Performance, is hereby deleted.
In all other respects, the original Agreement shall remain in effect.

Exhibit B
With the exception of compensation, Additional Services provided for in Section
2.3 of this Agreement, the maximum total compensation to be paid to Consultant
under this Agreement in Fiscal Year 2018/2019 is Ten Thousand, Seven Hundred and
Forty Dollars ($10,740.00) ("Contract Sum"). The Contract Sum shall be paid to
Consultant AMS Security in conformance with Section 2.4 of the Agreement.
