SPECIAL CONDITIONS --PERMIT NO. 1860+

In addition to the standard permit conditions, the fallowing shall
apply:
1. All work: shall be performed in accordance with the latest edition
of the "Standard Specifications For Public Works Construction"
and the plans approved'by the City of La Quinta.
No fill shall be placed which will cover or obscure asphalt
concrete, petroleum product spillage, or other non-native
materials.
2. Permittee shall furnish the name(s) and phone number(s) of the
individual(s) responsible for maintaining the project site from
any situation that' is a public nuisance, after hours, weekends,
holidays, etc.
3. Permittee shall notify the City Engineering.Dept. at 564-2246 at
least 24 hours in advance of starting construction.
4. 50th Avenue shall be kept clean of all trackage or spillage from
vehicles using this site. The roads shall be completely cleaned
at the end of each work: day, if necessary, and more frequently if
required.
5. Operation and maintenAnce of equipment within one half mile of
human occupancy shall be performed only during the fallowing time
periods:
October 1st: to April 30: Monday -Friday 7:00 a.m' to 5:30p.m.
Saturday S:oo a.m. to 5:00p.m.
May 1st to September 30: Monday -Friday 6:00 a.m. to 7:0 0p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m.
Equipment: may not be operated or maintained on legal holidays
including Sundays.
6. .Permittee is responsible for repair of any pavement damage or
other damage to access roads and other public facilities.
7. Should additional York or modifications be required in order to
meet established City Standards or in order to fit field
conditions; the work: shall be performed by the permittee as
directed by and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at no
cost to the City of La Quinta.

8. When work: is within 500' of a signalized intersection , the
permittee shall notify Riverside County Signal Dept. at (714)
275- .6894 or Caltrans Signal Dept at (619) 688-6845 as
appropriate.
9. All traffic signal detector loops shall be protected in place.
any damage shall be the contractor/permittee's responsibility.
10. 48 firs prior to starting work: Underground Service Alert shall be
contacted at 1(800)422-4133 and an "inquiry no." shall be
provided to the public works inspector.
11. All work shall be coordinated with the City's contractor and
others working within the area as directed by and to the
satisfaction of the City Engineer.
12. All backfill and subgrade sail shall be compacted to 90% relative
dry density, all backfill sail within the top 2' of finish
pavement surface shall be compacted ' to 95% relative dry density,
all base material shall be compacted to 95% relative dry density.
13. Permanent pavement replacement section shall be one inch greater
than existing and shall be completed no later than 24hrs. after
the utilities have been located. Asphalt replacement shall be
"Hot Mix" or an approved equal.
