After lengthy discussion, the Planning Commission found your remodel proposal, approved by the Commission prior to the adoption of the Village at La Quinta Specific Plan, to be inconsistent with the design guidelines of that Plan. The Commission, therefore, voted to continue consideration of your extension request, to permit you the opportunity, to reevaluate the building remodel in light, the Village Specific Plan. A copy of the adopted Specific Plan is available at City Hall, should you need a copy. Please consider the design guidelines contained within the Specific Plan when redesigning your proposed remodel.
