Description
The City of La Quinta currently has forty-one (41) fleet vehicles and is seeking
qualified vendors to hand wash the exterior and interior of the vehicles. A list of
the fleet vehicles to be cleaned is listed as attachment 1.
Eco-friendly efficient waterless carwash services utilizing a wash mat to recycle
water will be performed on the first and third Friday of each month, beginning
February 1, 2019. Vehicles are located at the Public Works Corporate Yard, at
78106 Frances Hack Lane.
In case of rain, service will be rescheduled as agreed between vendor and City.
Exterior:
All vehicle exteriors will be hand washed twice per month. Handwashing includes
the exterior wash with polish, windows and tire dressing, hand dry.
Interior:
Vehicles left unlocked will be cleaned twice per month, interior cleaning includes
vacuuming floors and seats, wiping all surfaces, window cleaning and air freshener.
Payment Terms:
Invoices may be submitted either monthly or bi-monthly and will be paid in one
lump sum as billed on the invoice.
Insurance Requirements:
The selected vendor will be expected to enter into a Maintenance Services
Agreement with the City, the City’s insurance requirements are listed below for
your reference.
Per the Maintenance Services Agreement:
Commercial General Liability (at least as broad as ISO CG 0001)
