Project Oescriotion
The proposal amends Chapter 9.100.210 of the La Quinta Municipal Code to exempt golf course maintenance
from the City's noise limits from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
No potentially significant effects on the environment are anticipated as a result of the amendment to the La
Quinta Municipal Code; therefore, a Negativepeclaration has been prepared in accordance with the California.
Environmental Quality Act. The Initial Study/Environmental Assessment and all documents referenced therein
are available for review at the City of La Quinta Planning Division, located at 78495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta, CA
92253 on Monday through Thursdays 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Fridays 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The public is invited to comment on the draft Negative Declaration during the public review period beginning
