Good Afternoon Jackie,
Thank you for submitting your Statement of Qualifications for executive recruitment
services for the City of La Quinta.
As we discussed, the City Council would be pleased to interview your firm at a Special
City Council Study Session on Tuesday, January 29 @ 6pm., at La Quinta City
Hall. The interview could be conducted in person or via Skype if necessary – preferably
in person.
Council is interested in your firm’s approach and in the person/personality of the
individual that would be interacting with them through this important process. The City
Council is not looking for your typical City Manager, however, preferably someone who
has experience in both the private and public sector.
Ideally, Council intends to interview firms on January 29th and to award a contract for
executive recruiter services at their February 5, 2019 Council meeting.
