Mayor Evans,
I am a Trilogy resident. My wife and I moved here three years ago. We chose Trilogy because of the
pristine tranquil beauty of the area. We wanted to be as far out as we could but still be residents of La
Quinta for the peace and quiet. As soon as the the street lights go down we might as well be in the
middle of the desert.
I’m not your typical Trilogy resident. I didn’t move here to retire. I’m too young for that and work in the
area full time so I plan on living here a long time. I get it. I don’t golf. Golf is a dying industry. I don’t have
the time to golf right now. A surf park/ village is a unique idea. We live in the desert where the water is
scarce. I read how they’ll use less water than a golf course. So what it’s still millions of gallons of water.
The valley doesn’t need another golf course using all that water and we definitely don’t need another
surf park.
Please don’t look at this as another source of revenue. Come out to Trilogy. Come over to our house for
dinner if you like. I will show you the beauty at night that you probably have seen here before. Please
don’t ruin my wonderful life.
