SCARRED PAVEMENT SURFACE RESULTING FROM REMOVAL OPERATIONS SHALL BE SEALED WITH ASPHALT PAINT CONFORMING TO SECTION 203-8 OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS. SCARRED AREAS RESULTING FROM WORK OR GRAPHIC LEGEND REMOVAL SHALL BE FULLY COVERED WITH AN ASPHALTIC PAINTED SQUARE OR RECTANGULAR SHAPE THAT COMPLETELY OBLITERATES THE OLD LEGEND FORM.
