(1) The La Quinta Community Development Department has determined that the request has been assessed in conjunction with Environmental Assessment 96-325 prepared for Specific Plan 96-027. No changed circumstances or conditions and no new information provided would trigger the preparation of subsequent environmental analysis pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21166. Any person may submit written comments on this case to the Community Development Department prior to the Hearing and/or may appear and be heard in support of or opposition to the project at the time of the Hearing. If you challenge the decision of this case in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone else raised either at the Public Hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department at, or prior to, the Public Hearing. The proposed file(s) may be viewed by the public Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Community Development Department, La Quinta City Hall, 78-495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta, California. The public comment period starts from the date of this notice and continues through the Planning Commission Public Hearing on May 8, 2001.
