SUBJECT: MODIFICATION BY APPLICANT 2021-0011 FLORESTA
Dear Mr. Courtney:
The Design and Development Department has reviewed your request to change the
architectural plan types within the Floresta residential development. It has been
determined that said plan modifications are minor, will not result in a significant
change in the original project as approved by the decision making authority as
approved under Site Development Permit 2018-011 via PC Resolution 2018-011.
The proposal includes minor adjustments, substitutions, and additions to roofing
materials, as it proposes a Tesla solar tile option for homes (attached). Therefore,
the modification is approved as shown on the attached exhibits, subject to the
following conditions of approval:
1. The applicant shall conform to all other corresponding conditions of approval for Site
Development Permit 2018-0002, Tentative Tract Map 36762, Specific Plan 03-069 and
subsequent amendments, and Environmental Assessment 2014-638.
2. The applicant shall apply for a Building Permit with the City of La Quinta Building
Department.

require a fastening embedment of 1.75”
DOC POS-2 OSB sheathing: minimum 7/16” thick
(11.1 mm)
Flashings require the curb height to be a
minimum of 7” for roof-mounted equipment and
obstructions such as skylights.
Windows must be a minimum of 6” above
the roof deck
