Though the city allows for extenuating circumstances in placement of the unit, this exception would not apply as alternate placement areas are available such as your courtyard. If you wish to submit a new application for the garage a/c to be installed in a different location you may do so by contacting management with the appropriate documentation and the Board of Directors will review for consideration. The current garage a/c unit must be removed within 30 days from the date of this notice. The City of La Quinta has also received a copy of this notice and are aware of the Board of Director’s decision.
