Contact was made with the adult male resident, he advised that the equipment had a leak and needed fixed. He advised that he would have it fixed today and then remove it. He said that he normally keeps it somewhere else and is aware it cannot be at this location. The rest of the day was provided to remove the equipment. FOLLOW UP-KM KME 10/19/2015 10/20/2015 FOUNDED Officer Meredith conducted a follow up and observed that the back-ho was still at the property but had been turned around and was running. Mr. Eddie Garza came outside and advised that he attempted to get the needed part on Friday but it didn't come in until Monday. He said that he made the repairs and was just removing the vehicle/equipment right now. Identification was requested and observed but a citation was not issued. FOLLOW UP-KM KME 10/21/2015 10/21/2015 COMPLIANT A follow up inspection revealed the back-ho had been removed. Closed. INITIAL INSPECTION-K KME 10/15/2015 10/15/2015 FOUNDED Supervisor Moreno contacted Officer Meredith in the field and instructed him to check this property for a reported back-ho parked at the property, not engaged in any work. Upon arrival, a back- ho/tractor was observed parked on the driveway/front yard area. Contact was made with an adult female and the issue was explained. She advised that the owner of the equipment was not home but that she would let him know. She said it is normally parked elsewhere. A 24 hour verbal correction timeline was provided.
