You are hereby notified to abate the nuisance by the removal of the vehicle(s) (or the parts of a vehicle or parts of a vehicle or by demonstrating to the Officer noted below that the vehicle is operational, currently licensed, and is in a maintained condition) by November 7, 2020. If a request for a public hearing is not received within ten days after mailing the notice of intention to abate, the vehicle or parts thereof may be disposed of by removal to a scrapyard or automobile dismantler's yard or other suitable site operated by a local authority for processing scrap. The costs thereof, together with administrative cost, will be assessed to you, the owner of the land on which said vehicle(s) (or the parts of a vehicle) is located. Furthermore, the owner will not be compensated for the items removed. You may submit a sworn written statement by November 7, 2020 denying responsibility for the presence of the vehicle(s) (or parts of a vehicle) on the land, with your reasons for denial, and such statement shall be construed as a request for hearing at which your presence is not required.
