Further, a 2nd subpoena was served on the City on July 12, 2022. On July 13, 2022,
the City of La Quinta called DataFied (714) 632-3480, and spoke with Bob to explain
that the City of La Quinta is not the custodian of records for Police, and that there
is no "La Quinta Police Department". The City of La Quinta contracts with the
Riverside County Sheriff's Department for Police services. The City advised that this
Subpoena needs to be directed to the Riverside County Sheriff's Dept for processing.
This correspondence completes the City’s response to this subpoena for records.
