REGULAR QUARTERLY MEETING
2. RECEIVE AND FILE FISCAL YEAR 2018/19 FIRST QUARTER HOUSING
AUTHORITY BUDGET REPORT
Finance Director Campos presented the staff report, which is on file in the City Clerks
Department.
The Commission discussed revenue and expenditure adjustments and current City investments.
Motion – A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners McDonough/Casto to receive and
file fiscal year 2018/19 first quarter Housing Authority budget report. Motion Passed: ayes 4,
noes 0, absent 1 (Davidson).
3. HOUSING COMMISSION CHANGE OF START TIME TO 4:00 P.M.
Assistant to the City Manager Villalpando presented the staff report, which is on file in the City
Clerks Department.
Motion – A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Casto/McDonough to approve
changing the start time for the Commission’s meetings from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Motion
passed: ayes 4, noes 0, absent 1 (Davidson).
STUDY SESSION
1. DISCUSS FUNDING FOR HOMELESS PREVENTION PROGRAMS
Management Specialist Ferreira presented the staff report, which is on file in the City Clerk’s
Department.
The Commission discussed fiscal year 2018/19 homelessness funding opportunities; special
funding restrictions; and shelter services.
Staff said a special Commission meeting might be scheduled in January 2019 for homeless
prevention and shelter services; and explained that the City does not offer assistance programs
for new home buyers, and these types of inquiries are directed to the County of Riverside.
