2023-2026 JCG Technologies - Amendment 1 - Liberty Audio Recording SoftwareAMENDMENT NO. 1 TO SUPPORT SERVICES PACKAGE AGREEMENT
WITH JCG TECHNOLOGIES
This Amendment No. 1 ("Amendment 1") to Support Services Package Agreement
("Agreement") is made and entered into as of the 15th day of November 2023, ("Effective
Date") by and between the CITY OF LA QUINTA ("City"), a California municipal
corporation and JCG Technologies, Inc. ("JCG").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on or about December 23, 2019, the City and JCG entered into an
Agreement to provide Liberty audio recording software, for a total not to exceed amount
of Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty -Five Dollars ($7,835). The Term of the
Agreement expires on December 31, 2023 ("Initial Term"); and
WHEREAS, the City and JCG mutually agree to extend the Term of the Agreement
for three (3) additional years from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026 in
accordance with "Term of Contract" section of the Agreement ("Extended Term").
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenant herein contained, the
parties agree as follows:
AMENDMENT
In consideration of the foregoing Recitals and the covenants and promises
hereinafter contained, and for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and
receipt of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. "Term of Contract" section is amended to read as follows:
The term of this contract shall commence on the effective date of this contract and shall
continue through December 31, 2023 (Initial Term), unless terminated, canceled,
extended or renewed as otherwise provided herein. This agreement is being extended
for three (3) additional years from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026
(Extended Term).
In all other respects, the original Agreement shall remain in effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and Contracting Party have executed this
Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement on the respective dates set forth below.
