The dwelling facing east from the west side of Avenida Anselmo. It features an irregular plan with an asymmetrical front façade. The dwelling has a flat roof clad with asphalt and gravel. The roof has broad, overhang boxed eaves. An attached garage is located on the north end of the dwelling. The exterior walls are clad with stucco, and with expanses of brick masonry. Fenestration across the property appears to be steel framed single-pane windows and aluminum sliding windows. The front entrance is recessed behind a wooden gated entryway shielded from the public right-of-way. Character defining features of Contemporary style homes that can be seen on the subject property include: an asymmetrical façade, broad expanses of uninterrupted wall surfaces, a recessed couryard entryway, and horizontal bands. The home was built in the Contemporary style in the La Quinta Country Club subdivision, recorded in 1959, and is within the La Quinta Golf Estates neighborhood. The subject property was constructed in 1967 by an unidentified builder. The dwelling is associated with the themes of Residential Development (1934-1970s) and Recreation and Leisure (1926-1970s), being located in La Quinta's first private country club and the first residential neighborhood associated with club. However, the property does not possess individual documented significance in relation to these themes.
