Please use proper judgement and caution when opening attachments, clicking links or responding to requests for information. I am submitting this written comment to remind you that City leaders must be neutral and unbiased in dealing with constituents and to request that Mayor Evans and Councilmembers refrain from publicly making derogatory statements about me and/or those of us who oppose Mayor Evans's policies. Per my email to the City on February 11, 2024, 1 learned that Mayor Evans and Councilmember Fitzpatrick publicly undermined me and other neighbors as liars (in the 12/19/23 City Council meeting) in connection to several incidents involving Mayor Evans's good friend, Lynne Daniels of the Dupont Estate. To reiterate, I have never lied and, in fact, provided corroboration for every one of the statements I have made. Furthermore, per my January 29, 2024 email to Councilmember Fitzpatrick, I have even invited Mayor Evans to point to the alleged "false" statements I have made. To date, I have not received a reply. As our leader, Mayor Evans exerts considerable influence over staff at City Hall (and, indeed, the entire community). The reputation Mayor Evans has propagated against me has, evidently, trickled down to Code Enforcement officers, such as Mr. Cole Woods, whose perception of me, as documented in Code Enforcement Report # CE-23-1904 is that "[1] like to push the limits to upset someone else in the neighborhood". Mr. Woods's statement is judgemental, unprofessional, and inappropriate - particularly given that Mr. Woods is a complete stranger to me as there has NEVER been any interaction between us (aside from a subsequent email complaint to which I received no reply). Mayor Evans's good friend, Ms. Daniels, has succeeded in making me a pariah in the eyes of many of the elderly individuals in my neighborhood with whom she cultivates relationships. As clearly illustrated in the complaining individual, Connie Kashkawol's, documented statements in Code Enforcement report #CE-23-1904, it appears that many of my neighbors (like CE Officer Cole Woods), with whom I have NEVER interacted, erroneously believe that I am a gratuitous troublemaker, unapproachable killer, husband -stealer, and even bipolar. I respectfully request, yet again, of Mayor Evans and her Council that they specify the alleged "false" statements which I have made, so that I may have the opportunity to corroborate and/ or correct these, if necessary. I also respectfully request that Mayor Evans, Councilmembers and City Staff cease to further publicly undermine me and those of us who dissent.
