CC Resolution 1985-033^ 2 RESOLUTION NO. 85-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, MODIFYING RESOLUTION NO.
83-20 TO AMEND MEMBERSHIP OF THE LA QUINTA TRAFFIC
SAFETY COMMITTEE.
BE IT RESOLVED that Sections 2 and 4 of Resolution No. 83-20 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2. Type of Committee and Membership Qualifications. The
Committee shall be an advisory body to the City Council. Five 5) of
its members shall be representative, of public agencies which are
involved in Traffic Safety, as follows:
City of La Quinta City Council One Member
City of La Quinta Staff Three Members
Community Development Director
o Community Safety Coordinator
Associate Civil Engineer
Riverside County Sheriff's Dept. One Member
Additionally, five 5) members shall be appointed at large by the
City Council. Those members shall be residents and electors of
La Quinta. If for any reason a member ceases to be a resident or
elector of the City, his or her membership shall terminate and a
replacement shall be appointed.
SECTION 4. Organization. The Committee shall be comprised of
ten 10) members as indicated in Section 2.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of April 1985.

Mayor Cox.
