A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE COMPENSATION
OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES RES. NO. 85-68) RELATIVE
TO SALARY RANGES FOR PERSONNEL POSITIONS.
WHEREAS, on August 6, 1985, the Council adopted Resolution
No. 85-68, establishing the compensation of officers and
employees and setting the conditions and terms of employment; and
WHEREAS, it is now deemed desirable to change Section 1,
salary range for personnel positions, to provide for an additional
employee position of Account Clerk.
WHEREAS, is also deemed desirable to to change Section 1,
salary range for personnel positions, to provide for job title
amendments as provided for in the FY 1985-86 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta,
California, hereby amends Section 1 of Resolution No. 85-68, to
read as follows:
SECTION 1. The following salary range and personnel position
is approved, as set forth in the Schedule of Salary Ranges,
Exhibit A.
TITLE RANGE
Engineering Aide 35
Account Clerk 29
Building Inspector I 38
Public Works Maint. Worker I 22
Public Works Maint. Worker II 30
Sections 2 and 3 and Exhibit A to said Resolution No. 85-68
are hereby reconf irmed in their entirety and shall remain in full
force and effect.
