TUP 2016-0017 Plaza LQ Trailer & Restrooms (06.02.2016)June 2, 2016 'edit 4 4Qlbrw Mr. Robert Pierce Business Ultra Construction 3065 East Verona Road Palm Springs, CA 92262 SUBJECT: TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 2016-0017 TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION CONTAINER & PORTABLE RESTROOM Dear Mr. Pierce: The Design and Development Department has reviewed and approved your request for a temporary construction container and portable restroom located in the existing parking lot at the Plaza La Quinta commercial center at 78271 Highway 111 (Attachment 1). The approval is subject to the following Conditions of Approval: 1. The temporary construction container and portable restroom can remain on-site until July 15, 2016. An extension of time may be applied for, with no additional fee, in writing to the Design and Development Department before expiration. The Design and Development Director may, after reviewing the facts, extend the use of the trailer for additional time. The temporary construction container and portable restroom shall be removed from the site prior to July 16, 2016. The site of the temporary construction container and portable restroom shall be restored to its original condition. 2. Use of the construction container and portable restroom shall be limited to the hours of construction as listed in the La Quinta Municipal Code (Chapter 6.08, Nuisances). A copy of this time schedule can be obtained from the Building Division. 3. The approximately 9 foot by 40 foot temporary construction container and portable restroom shall not occupy more than four parking spaces and shall not interfere with drive aisles or other parking stalls. 4. The use of the temporary construction trailer and portable restroom shall not create conditions materially detrimental to the public health, safety and general welfare or injurious to other properties or land uses in the vicinity. 5. Mounted close to the front door on the outside of the construction container shall be a written notice informing emergency personnel of your 24-hour emergency phone number in case problems arise that need your prompt attention (i.e., minimum one -inch high letters). The City may elect to add conditions to this application request to mitigate any problems that may arise and are not addressed herein. This action is final unless appealed by you or another person to the Planning Commission within 15 days of the action. Please contact our department should you wish to appeal.
