CC Resolution 1991-070 Street Vacation Intent - Kaylon St2 ^ ? CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION 91-* A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS, FIXING A TIME AND PLACE TO HEAR ALL PERSONS INTERESTED, OR OBJECTING TO, THE PROPOSED VACATION, PROVIDING FOR POSTING PURSUANT TO THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941 AS CONTAINED IN SECTION 8300 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. CASE NO: STREET VACATION 91-017 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA.QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941 and pursuant to Section 8300 et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council of the City of La Quinta declares its intention to vacate a portion of Kaylon Street, as described on attached Exhibits YAtI and tiBil. SECTION 2. That a Hearing is to be conducted on the 5th day of November, 1991 at 7:00 P.M. at the La Quinta City Council Chambers, 78-105 Calle Estado, La Quinta, California, at which time all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation will be heard. SECTION 3. Notices of said vacation shall be posted conspicuously along the street or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at least fourteen 14) days before the date set for the Hearing. Said Notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, but at least three shall be posted. Said Notices shall state the passage of this Resolution of Intent and the time and place of hearing. Said Notices shall be posted by the Superintendent of Streets, and thereafter shall file an affidavit of posting with the City Clerk. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be posted within fifteen days after its adoption in three 3) public places established by the City Council.
