A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
TO PALMER CABLEVISION FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE IN
PRODUCTION OF A VIDEO COMMEMORATING THE CITY'S
TENTH ANNIVERSARY.
* on May 1, 1992, the City of La Quinta will
be celebrating its Tenth Anniversary; and
* on January 4, 1992, the City of La Quinta
held a Ten Carat Dinner Dance the first event of a five-month
celebration commemorating this milestone; and
* a video depicting the progress the City has
made during these first ten years was produced by Myra
Bohnenberger, and would not have been possible without the
assistance of Palmer Cablevision and their Staff; and
WHE***S, S'T'**T* * General Manager of
Palmer Cablevision gave approval for the production of La Quinta,
Gem of the Desert, a Ten Carat Decade" and gave authorization to
his staff to provide all of the support, equipment and services
required to accomplish this project in record time of four weeks;
and
* *H:* * General Sales Manager and
Acting Production Manager of Palmer Cablevision was instrumental in
arranging staffing schedules in order to meet the January 4, 1992
deadline on this project and was the liaison between Palmer
Cablevision and Myra Bohnenberger, representing the Tenth
Anniversary Committee, at the onset of the project; and
* * worked for
Palmer CableVision as the audio specialist with the camera crew
during the taping sessions for this project. His expertise was
invaluable; and
1c)E: * Creative Director of
Palmer Cablevision was the cameraman, co-producer, director and co-
editor of La Quinta, Gem of the Desert, a Ten Carat Decade". His
outstanding work made this project the highlight of the Ten Carat
Decade Dinner Dance.
