CC Resolution 1992-047^#B3 RESOLUTION NO. 92-47
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATION
FROM THE LA QUINTA ROTARY CLUB
WHEREAS, the La Quinta Rotary Club has generously donated to
the City of La Quinta Ten Thousand Dollars $10,000) towards
payment of a sculpture in the fountain at the new Civic Center the
Donation"); and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the
Donation; and
WHEREAS, the Rotary Club wishes that a plaque be placed
adjacent to the sculpture recognizing their Donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does
hereby RESOLVE as follows:
1. The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the Donation.
2. The City of La Quinta shall have a plaque placed at the
sculpture site recognizing the Rotary Club's Donation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May, 1992 by the
following vote:
