RESOLUTION 93-9
A RESOL*ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA
QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AVENIDA BUENA VENTURA AND A PUBLIC ALLEY BETWEEN
AVENIDA BERMUDAS AND DESERT CLUB DRIVE AND FIXING
A *ME AND PLACE TO HEAR ALL PERSONS INTERESTED OR
OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VAC*ON, PROVIDING FOR
PO*NG PURSUANT TO THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941
AS CONTAINED IN SE*ON 8300 ET. AL.) OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SE*ON 1. That pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941 and pursuant to
Section 8300 et. seq. of the Streets and Highway* Code of the State of California, the City
Council of the City of La Quinta declares its in*ntion to vacate two public rights-of-way as
described on attached Exhibit 9*A".
SECTION 2. That a hearing is to be conducted on the 2nd day of March, 1993,
at 7:00 P.M. at the La Quinta City Council Chambers, 78-105 CalIe Estado, La Quinta,
California, at which time all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation will be
heard.
SECTION 3. Notices of said vacation shall be posted conspicuously along each
street or alley or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at least fourteen 14) days before the date
set for the hearing. Said nofices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, but at least three
shall be posted. Said notices shall state the passage of this Resolution of Intent and the fime and
place of hearing. Said notices shall be posted by the Superintendent of Streets, and thereafter
shall file an affidavit of posting with the City Clerk.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be posted within 72
hours after its adoption in three 3) public places established by the City Council.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOITED at a regular meefing of the La Quinta
City Council, held on this 16th day of February, 1993, by the following vote, to wit:
