CC Resolution 1993-051^#E RESOLUTION NO. 93-51
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA
APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE PROJECT
AREA COMMITTEE FOR THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND
PROJECT NO. 2 AS PROPOSED TO BE MERGED
WHEREAS, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency the Agency") has
previously adopted a Redevelopment Plan for the La Quinta
Redevelopment Plan Project No. lit) and Project No. 2 Project
No. 2"); and
WHEREAS, the Agency and the City Council of the City of La
Quinta the City") have undertaken procedures for the merger of
Project No. 1 and Project No. 2 the Merger"); and
WHEREAS, in connection with the Merger, the City Council
established a Procedure the PAC Procedure") for formation of a
Project Area Committee PAC") and by its Resolution No. 93-41
as approved on May 18 1993 called for the formation of a
PAC; and
WHEREAS, the City mailed and published notice of the formation
meeting of the PAC in accordance with the PAC Procedure; and
WHEREAS, a meeting was conducted on June 7, 1993 among
potential PAC members and members were selected by vote, as set
forth in Exhibit A" the PAC Membership").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of La Quinta as follows:
1. The City Council finds and determines that the PAC
Membership was duly determined in accordance with the PAC
Procedure.
2. The City Council finds and determines that the PAC
Membership is representative of the Project Areas for Project No.
1 and Project No. 2 as proposed to be merged.
