A RESOLUTION OF IlIE C* COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF LA QUINTA,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING mE FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE USE OF CIVIC
CENTER FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Quinta recognizes the benefit to the
community that is provided by efficient and effective scheduling and maintenance of Civic Center
Facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to regulate use fees and policies governing Civic
Center Facilities and to provide guidelines to City staff to monitor scheduling and use of facilities,
ensuring maintenance and use policies are enforced', and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a policy regulating the use of the Civic Center
Facility.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE ri. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La Quinta,
California, as follows:
Section 1: The fees for use shall be established annually in the *udget to
cover the full cost of the use of the facility, including, but not limited
to; overtime staff costs, audio-visual equipment and a per kilowatt hour cost
for electricity and shall be in full force and effect on and after October
19, 1993.
Secti*2z The fee for fiscal year 1993/94 shall be $32 per hour and shall
be in full fQrce and effect on and after October 19, 1993.

AYES: Council Members Bangerter, Mccartney, Perkins
NOES: Council Member Sniff, Mayor Pena
