A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE
PETTY CASH FUND.
WHEREAS, Petty Cash in an anLount of $200 was originally
established on May 1, 1982 by Resolution No.82-12, and;
WHEREAS, due to the increased volume and scope of City
operations since 1982, the $200 petty cash level is often depleted,
and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of La Quinta does hereby determine as follows:
Section 1. The Petty Cash fund be increased from $200 to
$500.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council, held on this 19th day of October 1993 by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Banqerter, McCartney, Perkins, Sniff,
Mayor Pena
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
