A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CAUFORI41A, D**LARING ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE A FIVE FOOT WL*E PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF LOTS 15 AND 16
OF SANTA CARMELITA AT VALE LA QUINTA UNIT 17,
FIXING A TIME AND DATE OF HEARING ALL PERSONS
INTERESTED OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED
VACATION, PROVIDING FOR POSTING PURSUANT TO
THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941 AS CONTAINED IN
SECTION 8300 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941, and pursuant to
Section 8300 et. seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council of the City of La Quinta declares intention to vacate a five foot public utility easement
described on attached Exhibit 1A".
SECTION 2. That a Hearing to be conducted on the 2st day of August, 1994,
at the lour of 7:00 P.M. at the La Quinta City Council Chambers, 78-495 Calle Tampico, La
Quinta, California, at which time all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
will be heard.
SECTION 3. Notices of said vacation shall be published at least ten days before
the date set for the Hearing. Said notices shall state the passage of this Resolution of Intention
and the time and place of hearing.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be posted within
fifteen days after its adoption in three 3) public places established by the City Council.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council, held on this 5th day of July, 1994, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Bangerter, McCartney, Perkins, Sniff,
Mayor Pena
