RESOL*ON NO.95-21
A RESOLUTION OF ThE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
7 OF LA QUINTA, APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN
STANDARD EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
BE IT RESOLVED, the Standardization of Emergency Incident Management is a prime
concern of all emergency management organizations; and
BE IT RESOLVED, we recognize that such a system can provide the citizens, through a
cooperative effort of all emergency management organizations, a cost effective emergency incident
management system; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, we ftlrther recognize that the adoption and use of the
Standardized Emergency Management System will result in increased cooperation and efficiency among
the emergency management organizations in Riverside County;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby agree to adopt
and use the approved Standardized Emergency Management System as defined in Government Code 8607.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of March, 1995.
