RESOLUTION NO.95-24
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GIFT OF GUEST
PARTICIPANT IN THE LIBERTY MUTUAL LEGENDS OF GOLF
TOURNAMENT BY KSL RECREATION CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, in April 1995, KSL Recreation Corporation generously donated to
the City, a gift of a guest participant in the 1995 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament
to be held April 19-21, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the gift was donated to the City and its personnel and was not given
to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donation and to
direct the City Manager to control distribution of the tournament guest participant.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
RESOLVE as follows
1. The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of a guest participant
in the 1995 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament.
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to control distribution of said guest
participant on a first-come, first-serve basis.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of April, 1995 by the
following vote:
AYES: Council Members Bangerter, Cathcart, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Pena
