RESOLUTION NO.95-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GIFT OF GUEST
PARTICIPANT IN THE LIBERTY MUTUAL LEGENDS OF GOLF
TOURNAMENT AND RELATED PASSES.
WHEREAS, in April 1995, KSL Recreation Corporation generously donated to
the City, a gift of guest participants in the 1995 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament
to be held April 19-21, 1995, and
WHEREAS, in April 1995, KSL Recreation Corporation generously donated to
the City, a gift of special badges for the tournament grounds, resort clubhouse and KSL
Recreation tent for the 1995 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament to be held April 19-
21, 1995; and
WHEREAS, in April 1995, Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf generously donated
to the City badges and corporate parking pass for the 1995 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf
Tournament to be held April 19-21,1995; and
WHEREAS, the gifts were donated to the City and its personnel and were not
given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
P WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donations and to
direct the City Manager to control distribution of the tournament guest participant and special
badges, parking pass and general badges.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
1. The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of guest participants
in the 1995 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament.
2. The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of special badges,
parking pass and general badges for the 1995 Liberty Mutual Legends of
Golf Tournament.
3. The City Manager is hereby directed to control distribution of said guest
participants, badges and parking pass on a first-come, first-serve basis.
