RESOLUTION NO. 95-46
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, APPROVING ThE CITY OF LA QUINTA'S BENEFIT
ASSESSMENT UNIT RATES FOR COUNTY SERVICE AREA 152 FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1995/96
WHEREAS, the estimated cost for the stormwater management program
requirements for the City of La Quinta is $109,200 for Fiscal Year 1995/96; and
WHEREAS, a typical benefit assessment unit would be a single family residential
lot, and large residential and commercial/industrial parcels would be assigned several benefitting
units, depending on the parcel(s) size and runoff. Agriculture land and vacant, undeveloped
parcels which produce no urban pollutants would be exempt from any assessment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of La Quinta has determined, based
upon staff's calculations that the annual Benefit Unit Assessment rate for Fiscal Year 1995/96
is $9.99 per Benefit Assessment Unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La
Quinta that the Benefit Assessment Unit rate for Fiscal Year 1995/96 for County Service Area
152 City of La Quinta is hereby set at $9.99 per Benefit Assessment Unit.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1995 by the
following vote:
