RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY As THE
LEGISLATIVE BODY OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES
DISTRICT NO.95-i OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA
DECLARING THE RESULTS OF A SPECIAL BOND AND
SPECIAL TAX ELECTION AND APPROVING CERTAIN
RELATED ACTIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Quinta the City Council") called and
duly held an election of Community Facilities District No.95-i of the City of La Quinta
Community Facilities District No. 95-1" or the District") pursuant to Resolution No.95-88
adopted by the City Council on November 21, 1995, for the purpose of presenting to the
qualified electors within Community Facilities District No.95-i a proposition for the
authorization of bonds in a principal amount not to exceed $12,000,000 and the levy of a special
tax in accordance with the method set forth in Resolution No.95-73 Proposition A") and a
proposition for the establishment of an appropriations limit in an amount equal to the annual
maximum special tax Proposition B"); and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this City Council a Certificate of the Clerk of
the City Council as to the Results of the Canvass of the Election Returns, a copy of which is
attached hereto as Attachment A";
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA HEREBY FINDS,
DETERMINES, RESOLVES, AND ORDERS As FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The above recitals are true and correct.
Section 2. Of the votes submitted by the qualified electors of Community Facilities
District No.95-i on November 21,1995, Propositions A and B have received two-thirds or
more votes in favor of such Propositions, and Propositions A and B have carried. The City
Council, acting as the legislative body of Community Facilities District No. 95-1, is hereby
authorized to issue, from time to time as it determines appropriate, bonds for the benefit of
Community Facilities District No.95-i for the purposes set forth in Proposition A and to take the
necessary steps to levy the special tax authorized by Proposition A.

I, Saundra Juhola, the City Clerk of the City of La Quinta, do hereby certify that I have
examined the returns of the Special Bond and Special Tax Election for Cornmunity Facilities
District No.95-i of the City of La Quinta. With my concurrence, the election was held in the
Council Chambers of the City at 78495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta, California, following the
adoption of the Resolutions Calling the Special Tax Election and the Bond Election on
November 21, 1995, prior to which time I have caused to be delivered an official ballot to the
authorized representative of each qualified elector. The ballots of all qualified electors were
returned to me on November 21, 1995 and the election was then closed as permitted by
Government Code Section 53326(d).
I further certify that the results of said election and the number of votes cast for and
against Proposition A is as follows:
