A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING COMPLIMENTARY
PASSES FOR THE LIBERTY MUTUAL LEGENDS OF GOLF,
GOLF TOURNAMENT
WHEREAS, on February 27, 1 997, KSL Recreation Corporation notified
the City, that a gift of complimentary passes for the 1 997 Liberty Mutual legends of
Golf, golf tournament to be held March 1 7 23, 1 997 would be forthcoming; and,
WHEREAS, the passes are donated to the City and its personnel and are
not given to, or limited to, the use of any particular employee or official; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donation and
to direct the City Manager to control distribution of the tournament passes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
1. The City of La Quinta hereby accept the
donation of complimentary passes for the
Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, golf
tournament.
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to control
distribution of said passes.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California this 1 8th day of March, 1 997 by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Adolph, Henderson, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Holt
