A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GRANT OF
EASEMENT DEED FOR A PERPETUAL EASEMENT AND
RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR STORM WATER EVACUATION
FACILITIES AND APPURTENANCES.
WHEREAS, certain storm water evacuation improvements have been
installed and constructed in the City of La Quinta; and
WHEREAS, it was found that additional easements and rights-of-way are
required to accommodate the installation of said storm water evacuation facilities; and
WHEREAS, said easements and rights-of-way are across real property
held and used by the Desert Sands Unified School District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Desert Sands Unified School
District has offered said easements and rights-of-way to the City of La Quinta in a
Grant of Easement Deed, executed by the Board on March 5, 1 997.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA
DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE THAT the Grant of Easement Deed
for a perpetual easement and right-of-way for storm water evacuation facilities and
appurtenances granted by the Desert Sands Unified School District on March 5, 1 997,
is accepted.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of May 1 997, by the
following vote:
