CC Resolution 1997-096^"Q RESOLUTION NO.97-96
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING COMPLIMENTARY
DAILY PASSES FOR THE LEXUS CHALLENGE GOLF
TOURNAMENT.
WHEREAS, on December 2, 1 997, KSL generously donated to the City,
a gift of complimentary daily passes for the Lexus Challenge Golf Tournament to be
held December 1 7-20, 1 997 at the La Quinta Resort & Club Citrus Course in La
Quinta, California; and
WHEREAS, the gifts were donated to the City and its personnel and were
not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donation and
to direct the City Manager to control distribution of the tournaments daily passes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
1. The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of
complimentary daily passes for the Lexus Challenge Golf
Tournament.
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to control distribution of said
tournament passes on a first-come, first-serve basis.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 1 997 by
the following vote:
