A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT
WHEREAS, on September 10, 1998, Friends of the La Quinta Senior Center
generously donated to the Community Services Department, a gift of an IBM Aptiva
Multimedia Computer and IBM G51 Color Monitor; and
WHEREAS, the gifts were offered for donation to the City of La Quinta and were
not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donation.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of IBM Computer and
Monitor
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1 998 by the
following vote:
AYES: Council Members Adolph, Henderson, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Pena
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
