Dear Friend of Heart:
The Eastern Valley Division of the American Heart Association
is planning its largest event of the year. The Inaugural
celebrity Celebration for Heart is scheduled for Priday, May
13, 1994 at the La Quinta Hotel Salon de Piesta Ballroom.
And we need your help.
Community leaders will be posing as waiters" to a table of
their invited guests. Waiters will solicit tips" from their
guests for zany antics throughout the evening. Some waiters
have charged" guests for silverware, dinner music, magic
tricks, jokes, or silence on the part of the waiter) Others
have even charged their guests to leave the room for any
reason). The ticket price per guest will be $35. And, waiters
will be responsible to sell their tables worth of tickets 10
tickets).
We think you would be a great celebrity waiter. As a waiter
you will be joining forces with other community leaders in the
fight against this nation's # 1 killer: cardiovascular disease.
Of course, if your prefer, you can attend as a Celebrity
Patron. In either capacity, we hope you can attend. I can be
